SFTribal Show Celebrating the Re-opening of the M.H. de Young Museum
October 2005

San Francisco Tribal's event to celebrate the re-opening of the de Young Museum was a great success. Housed in a 2600 square foot gallery space in the heart of San Francisco's gallery district, the event was very well attended by curators, collectors, dealers and tribal art enthusiasts from around the world who came to San Francisco to celebrate the re-opening of our spectacular new de Young Museum and its installation of a selection of very important objects from the collection of John and Marcia Friede. We enjoyed food and drink and a group of artworks carefully selected and installed by curator Vicki Shiba from the inventories of our membership.
