With a somewhat unconvincing smile, the expression on this mask is ambiguous yet powerful. It is a large mask, with a prominent forehead and wonderful patina. There is a greenish-yellow painted circle on each side temple and a hole in the top of the head. The reverse shows deep adze work and an old woven cotton tie.
