This beaded panel depicts a complex array of over-lapping mythical animals. It was attached to the outer portion of a baby carrier. These designs were intended to protect the child by warding off all malevolent spirits and repelling sickness. Created by a master beadworker. Note the clean lines and bold graphic quality of this panel.
