A finely carved fastening ring with distinctive bird-shaped Sarus cranes. In Hindu and Buddhist cultures, the crane is revered as a holy bird that brings happiness and is associated with longevity. With symbolic significance, this unique object was used to stretch the cords that bound wedding trousseaus. Well used with aged patina.
