17″ and 15.5″ high (43 and 39.3 cm) as based, 8.5″ (21.5 cm) wide and 4″ (10 cm) deep

Two large carved hardwood phalluses from the Fon Tribe on the border of Togo and Ghana. These are called Legba, named after a deity, and were placed in the ground to stimulate the growth of crops.  The condition is good, with some stable loss in the area that was buried.
