This is a rare print by Tomio Kinoshita, not seen on the market in at least the last ten years and not found in any museum collection. It was shown at the Mie Prefectural Art Museum in the 1995 exhibition of Tomio Kinoshita’s work, which was accompanied by a catalog in which the print was illustrated as plate No. 42. A copy of the catalog is included with purchase.
Kinoshita sometimes applied a dark gray paper border to his prints, which is seen on this print, missing on the lower left side; this would have been covered by the mat.
