A large wooden yam mask that was used by the Abelam for the ceremonies that honored giant yams. This well carved head has natural pigment colors and a good patina from age and use. Custom mounted on a wooden base with a small metal plaque with a description on the bottom. Ex- Michael Hamson, CA.
