This salt mortar is exceptionally beautiful in shape and form and is enhanced by a center marking etched out from ethnographic use giving it a “Zen” like quality. Hawaiian salt is prized all over the world. This piece is very likely to be 19th Century or earlier and comes from an old Hawaiian Collection. Ex James Willis.
