A fine set of three different types of Nuosuo Yi Lacquer Bowls. These bowls are for high ranking families to be used with guests and rituals.  They are made out of leather and decorated with a thick and hard lacquer surface with black, red, and yellow natural pigments. This set of three bowls shows a good variety of the type made and used. Previously in the collection of Acher Eskenasy, Paris France.
